In collaboration with skate & streetwear shop Dave’s Quality Meats, founded by artist Dave Ortiz, the Air Max 90 Bacon was released as a hyperstrike in 2004 and was so successful that the pair was rereleased as a retro with renewed materials in 2021. 

The design features a combination of leather and mesh materials in a color palette reminiscent of the sneaker's namesake. The midsole is brown and white, while the classic Nike swoosh in pink adds a touch of contrast. Streaks of pink, brown and white dominate the upper.
